Here is another great site for Italian language. They have weekly podcasts that you can subscribe to.  By the way, you don't need an ipod to enjoy these. Just download them to your computer and listen to them there. 

You can also join and get access to the transcripts and other learning tools.

Here is a great website that fits into two categories - sightseeing andlanguage learning. They have great recordings in English and Italian.You can download them onto your computer or your ipod. They areextremely well done with excellent narrators and loads of fascinatinginfo about Rome, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Siena and Naples.

Ifyou're not a native speaker of Italian you can use the recordings inItalian to practice your listening comprehension and then checkyourself with the English version.
